Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced HVAC Service Technician with at least three years of hands-on experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure our clients receive top-tier service, optimal system performance, and energy efficiency. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and property mechanical systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
- Conduct field service visits to client sites, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of system problems.
- Repair and maintain plumbing systems associated with HVAC equipment and refrigeration units.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to diagnose electrical issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Assist with appliance repair and property maintenance tasks related to HVAC/R systems.
- Operate company vehicles safely while adhering to all traffic laws; maintain a clean driving record as a <PERSON> driver.
- Work with ammonia refrigeration systems and other specialized HVAC/R equipment following safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving HVAC design modifications or upgrades.
Skills
- Proven experience as a service technician in the HVAC industry with at least three years of field experience.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, boilers, and appliance repair.
- Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design documents accurately.
- Familiarity with construction processes related to building mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting using tools like ohmmeters; welding skills are a plus.
- Experience working with ammonia refrigeration systems and HVAC/R equipment safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently in diverse environments.
- Effective communication skills for explaining technical information clearly to clients and team members.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate service vehicles safely. Pay: $26.00 - $40.00 per hour
