HVAC Service Tech

Plus One heating and Air is a growing residential and commercial heating, air conditioning, refrigeration and indoor air quality company located in Pelham, AL.

We are looking for qualified HVAC Technicians with strong communication skills to service our clients in central Birmingham. Candidates must have 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in the HVAC Industry, must be able to work in a team environment and to perform various duties including trouble shooting, maintenance, diagnostics, repair and installation of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating equipment.

Candidates must have the following minimum qualifications:

Valid driver’s license and clean DMV record.

H.S. Diploma or Equivalent.

Must have 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in the HVAC Industry.

Ability to diagnose, repair and service residential and commercial air conditioning and heating systems.

Ability to test, repair or replace defective equipment, electrical circuits, components, or wiring.

Ability to use electrical test equipment, pressure gauges, hand tools, power tools, voltage and current meters, thermocouples and flow sensors.

Ability to test equipment after repair.

Ability to work independently, or part of a team, to identify and resolve problems in the field.

Obtain and maintain required certifications.

Have EPA Refrigeration Certification to handle EPA Type 1 and 2 or Universal refrigerant.

Comply with all applicable standards, policies, and procedures, including safety procedures and the maintenance of a clean work area.

Having own tools is preferable.

Base Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
