We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Novato, CA . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC service and repair, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot a wide range of HVAC systems. The HVAC Service Technician will be responsible for performing HVAC services and repairs on HVAC systems, as well as providing exceptional customer service to our customers.
Pay Range: $80k - $125k per year depending on experience + bonus/commission
What will I do?
- Service and repair for residential heating and air conditioning systems.
- Inspect and test systems to verify plan and specification standards of compliance, while providing the highest level of customer service.
- Maintain and repair HVAC systems; duct replacement and IAQ solutions
- Travel to job sites in the service area and work with dispatch to ensure the schedule is maintained
- Maintain proper stock, tools, parts, and safety equipment in the fleet vehicle.
- Diagnose service issues, replace parts, calibrate the system to the manufacturer’s recommendations, and communicate fully with the customer on the issues and solutions.
- Identify and consult the customer about additional/new/upgraded services or systems
What do I need?
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean DMV record
- 2+ years of experience troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and installation of residential HVAC systems, duct replacement, and IAQ solutions
- EPA Certification preferred
- NATE Certification is a plus
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
