HVAC Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Service Technician to join our team and deliver high-quality heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical services to our customers. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of HVAC systems while ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on HVAC systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment and mechanical components.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, and HVAC design documents to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
• Conduct field service work at various property sites, ensuring timely completion of repairs and installations while maintaining high safety standards.
• Utilize diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and other equipment repair instruments to identify electrical faults or mechanical failures.
• Execute welding, equipment repair, and component replacement tasks with precision to restore system functionality.
• Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and reports documenting all inspections, repairs, parts used, and time spent on each job.
• Assist with property maintenance tasks as needed and support team members in complex projects involving HVAC/R systems or appliance repair.

Requirements

• 3 years proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in HVAC systems
• Knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, refrigeration, and mechanical systems.
• Mechanical aptitude combined with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics accurately; familiarity with HVAC/R standards is essential.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; experience with welding and equipment repair is desirable.
• Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by field service experience across diverse environments.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the capacity to handle multiple priorities efficiently.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
