HVAC Service Technician

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs HVAC equipment in the customer's home and give the customer an accurate estimate of the cost of repair if applicable.
• Seize opportunities to generate revenue through the maintenance program by clearly and effectively communicating its benefits to the customer.
• Offers guidance and technical support to team members while also providing leadership and direction to apprentices.
• Maintains the highest level of service standards and communicates openly.
• Manages truck stock inventory and ensures every material, tool, and part is accounted for. Maintains tools and equipment in safe, operational condition, while overseeing and safeguarding company assets, including assigned HVAC equipment, inventory, and the company van.
• Complete knowledge of all tools, equipment, and materials used to perform services on Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) units
• Ability to communicate, read, understand and apply written text of a technical nature.
• Ability to read, write and speak English and communicate effectively.
• Ability to work variable and flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, stretch, twist, reach, climb, and lift/carry up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to access different levels of terrain, including interior and exterior landscapes while performing duties Education

Requirements:

• Driver's License Required: Yes
• Age Requirement: 18+
• Prior HVAC knowledge 3+ Years
• Clean driving record.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• On call
• Overtime

Supplemental Pay:
