HVAC Service Technician

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician with a minimum of five (5) years of field experience to support the continued growth of our family-owned and operated company. The ideal candidate is a skilled troubleshooter, takes pride in quality workmanship, communicates well with both homeowners and office staff, and brings a positive, can-do attitude to the job every day. Must be able to articulate solutions to problems homeowners are experiencing such as indoor air quality, allergies, humidity and safety controls. • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential heating and air conditioning systems, including:
• Heat pumps
• Gas furnaces
• Zoning systems
• Inverter-driven ductless mini-split systems
• Conventional HVAC systems
• Clearly communicate findings, repairs, and recommendations to homeowners in a professional and relatable manner
• Address homeowner concerns related to:
• Indoor air quality
• Allergies
• Humidity control
• Safety controls
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and office staff using company software and internal apps
• Maintain accurate service documentation and records
• Operate and maintain a clean, safe, and organized service vehicle
• Follow all safety protocols and company standards

Requirements

• Minimum five (5) years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician in a service vehicle
• Strong ability to diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems
• EPA Certification required
• Valid driver’s license
• Clean driving record for the past several years
• Ability to pass state and federal background checks
• Physically able to lift and carry heavy equipment
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Positive attitude, reliability, and professionalism
