HVAC Service Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our team. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties. Your expertise in equipment repair and property maintenance will be crucial in ensuring the comfort and safety of our clients.

Duties:
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including heating units, air conditioning units, ventilation systems, and refrigeration units
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as cleaning coils, checking electrical connections, lubricating parts, and replacing filters
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
- Repair or replace defective components in HVAC systems
- Test system performance and ensure proper operation
- Collaborate with other technicians to complete larger projects or complex repairs
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions about HVAC systems

Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude for equipment repair
- Proficient in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair techniques
- Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Skilled in welding and fabrication for system modifications or repairs
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Experience:

• HVAC: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• EPA Type II (Preferred)
• Driver's License (Required)
