Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
- Troubleshoot HVAC issues and provide effective solutions to customers.
- Install new HVAC equipment and ensure proper functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls and repairs.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding service needs and recommendations.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations at all times.
- Assist in training junior technicians and apprentices.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies.
- Participate in the technician on call rotation
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree in HVAC preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in HVAC service and repair.
- Valid HVAC technician license and EPA certification.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call shifts.
