Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot various HVAC systems. The HVAC Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain HVAC systems in commercial settings.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems.
- Repair or replace defective components using tools such as an ohmmeter and brazing equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all work activities.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding system performance and repairs needed.
- Document all service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed on equipment.
- Collaborate with other technicians to build and maintain efficient HVAC systems.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, or repair.
- Knowledge of hydronics/boiler systems is a must.
- Proficiency in appliance repair and mechanical skills is essential.
- Ability to plumb systems as required for installations or repairs.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Familiarity with industry tools including but not limited to ohmmeters and welding equipment.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Relevant certifications or licenses in HVAC technology are preferred but not mandatory.
