HVAC Service Technician

The Right Technician Already Knows

A good company doesn’t just change your paycheck.

It changes:

  • How customers treat you
  • How supported you feel
  • How much pride you take in your work
  • How much stress follows you home at night

At Hurricane Air, we are building a company for technicians who care deeply about their reputation, their craftsmanship, and the customer experience they leave behind.

Not just numbers.

Not just sales.

Not just running calls.

We are looking for technicians who want to help build something people genuinely trust in Southwest Florida.

Let’s Be Direct

This is a performance-pay position only.

There is no hourly safety net.

Why?

Because we believe high-performing technicians should not have income ceilings placed on them by average systems.

Our compensation structure is designed for technicians who:

  • Communicate well
  • Diagnose properly
  • Educate customers honestly
  • Take ownership
  • Create real value
  • Care about doing things the right way

And because of that, we are extremely competitive for our market.

We will discuss compensation details during the interview process with qualified candidates.

Who Thrives Here

The technicians who succeed with us are usually the ones who:

  • Take pride in their work even when nobody is watching
  • Want customers asking for them by name
  • Care about their reputation more than shortcuts
  • Naturally educate instead of pressure
  • Believe trust closes more opportunities than manipulation ever will
  • Want to be part of growing a serious company

What Makes Hurricane Air Different

We are intentionally building systems and culture around:

  • Trust & transparency
  • Professional communication
  • Accountability
  • Team support
  • Customer education
  • Long-term relationships over short-term transactions

We use structured processes, clear expectations, and strong internal communication to help technicians succeed instead of operating in chaos.

Our goal is not to become the biggest company in Southwest Florida.

Our goal is to become the company customers trust most.

What We’re Looking For

  • Residential HVAC service experience
  • Strong diagnostic ability
  • Excellent customer communication
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ownership mindset

This Role Is NOT For You If

  • You blame customers, dispatch, or management for everything
  • You cut corners
  • You dislike accountability
  • You want to do the bare minimum
  • You see customers as transactions instead of people

This Role IS For You If

  • Your reputation matters to you
  • You want your work respected

  • You enjoy helping customers make informed decisions
  • You want to help build a company the right way

One Important Question

When customers think about the technician who came to their home…

Do you want them remembering:

“He fixed the AC.”

Or:

“That was one of the best service experiences we’ve ever had.”

There is a difference.

And the right technician understands it immediately.
