HVAC Service Technician

Henrys Plumbing Heating & Air is currently seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team. As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, including cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, and replacing filters.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including troubleshooting electrical and mechanical components.
• Install new HVAC systems and components according to manufacturer specifications and local codes.
• Respond to service calls in a timely manner and provide excellent customer service.
• Keep accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and hours worked.
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and maintenance procedures.
• Stay updated on the latest HVAC technology and industry trends.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• EPA certification for handling refrigerants.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree or technical certification in HVAC.
• Additional certifications such as NATE or HVAC Excellence.
• Experience with commercial HVAC systems and Geo Thermal a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
