HVAC Service Technician

SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE:
The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for the troubleshooting, repair and replacement of residential and commercial HVAC systems.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
These duties are not listed in any order of priority but will be weighted for performance management purposes.

• Provides heating and cooling service and preventative maintenance for residential and commercial customers.
• Troubleshoots units that are not operating properly and repairs as needed.
• Operate powered equipment including hand tools, stationary machines, etc.
• Lawfully drive a motor vehicle and maintain a current driver’s license in order to commute to the various current or prospective job sites in the region.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Maintain truck inventory.
• Contact the office following the completion of each call, providing requested information regarding the work completed, and receiving dispatch instructions for the next call.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to perform in a fast-paced work environment.
• Basic knowledge of construction.
• Basic mathematical problem solving.
• Basic computer/tablet skills, including Microsoft Office products and email services.
• Journeyman’s License is required.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Must be willing to travel when needed.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Occasional lifting up to 50lbs

TATRO will provide you reliable transportation for job assignments, to include reasonable personal use. TATRO will pay all expenses associated with vehicle fuel, maintenance, and upkeep.
