Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional heating, ventilation, and air conditioning solutions. Duties
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC equipment including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration systems, and ammonia refrigeration systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues.
- Conduct equipment repairs using appropriate tools such as ohmmeters, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools.
- Install new HVAC systems, plumbing connections, and related mechanical components following safety standards and technical specifications.
- Diagnose electrical issues using multimeters and other diagnostic tools; repair or replace faulty wiring or components.
- Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports for all work performed; communicate findings clearly to clients.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations including proper handling of refrigerants and ammonia systems; operate company vehicles safely as a <PERSON> driver.
Skills
- Extensive experience in service technician roles within HVAC or related fields such as refrigeration, plumbing, or property maintenance.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and HVAC design plans accurately.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters; experience with equipment repair and maintenance.
- Familiarity with construction processes and the ability to work on complex systems involving welding or boiler operations.
- Knowledge of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems including ammonia refrigeration units.
- Field service experience with a focus on appliance repair, property maintenance, and air conditioning systems.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating commercial vehicles as a <PERSON> driver is preferred. Pay: $18.00 - $27.00 per hour
