HVAC Service Technician

Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Diagnosis and Repair:
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose problems with HVAC systems, including heating and cooling units, ductwork, and ventilation systems.
• Perform repairs and replacements of components such as motors, compressors, fans, and thermostats.
• Maintenance Services:
• Conduct routine maintenance to ensure HVAC systems operate efficiently and effectively.
• Clean and adjust systems, replace filters, and perform safety checks.
• System Installation:
• Install HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, and electrical components, in residential and commercial settings.
• Ensure installations meet manufacturer specifications, local codes, and safety standards.
• Customer Interaction:
• Communicate with customers to explain system issues, repair options, and maintenance recommendations.
• Provide cost estimates for repairs or upgrades and answer questions professionally and courteously.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Complete service tickets, maintenance logs, and other necessary paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Record detailed notes on work performed, parts used, and any follow-up actions required.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Follow company safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain a safe working environment at all times.
• Ongoing Learning:
• Stay up to date on the latest HVAC technologies, equipment, and industry standards.
• Attend training sessions and certifications to enhance technical skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
