Position Overview
We’re seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician who delivers exceptional customer service and takes pride in quality workmanship. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position reports directly to the Service Manager and requires availability for full shifts and occasional overtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and Repair: Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, provide accurate cost estimates, and make professional recommendations to customers.
- Troubleshooting: Perform diagnostic checks on residential and light commercial HVAC systems to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Maintenance: Conduct preventive maintenance and system checks to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Customer Service: Communicate clearly and courteously with customers, providing an excellent service experience every time.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow company safety procedures and all applicable regulations.
- Documentation: Complete accurate service records, parts usage reports, and customer recommendations.
- Teamwork: Maintain company standards, meet performance goals, and collaborate with fellow team members.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2–5 years of HVAC service experience (installation experience a plus).
- Licenses: Valid HVAC technician license and driver’s license required.
- Skills:
- Strong diagnostic and technical abilities
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Physical Requirements:
- Able to work in various conditions (confined spaces, heights, outdoors)
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform hands-on work
- Tools: Must be able to safely use hand and power tools for repair and maintenance tasks.
