Responsibilities
- Perform installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, and related mechanical components.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
- Utilize diagnostic tools like ohmmeters and welding equipment to repair electrical circuits and mechanical parts efficiently.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete incident reports, and document all work performed for accountability and future reference.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all service activities; operate a <PERSON> driver vehicle safely to transport tools and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Must be willing to travel due to jobs being in surrounding states other than the home state of GA (ex-TN, AL, SC, NC, FL)
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in HVAC systems; construction or property maintenance experience is highly valued.
- Ability to read schematics and HVAC design plans accurately; familiarity with electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters is essential.
- Field service experience demonstrating the ability to troubleshoot efficiently in diverse environments.
- Skilled in welding techniques and mechanical repairs; experience with HVAC/R systems is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating <PERSON> driver vehicles is advantageous.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to ammonia refrigeration systems and boiler operation; certification in relevant areas is a plus.
