Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and related mechanical components.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues.
• Conduct system inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate, ensuring reliable operation.
• Install new HVAC equipment following safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to repair or replace faulty components effectively.
• Maintain detailed service records, including work performed, parts used, and system conditions for each job.
• Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs and system performance to foster trust and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC or related fields such as plumbing, refrigeration, or property maintenance.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and HVAC design plans.
• Hands-on experience with equipment repair, welding, boiler systems, ammonia refrigeration, and appliance repair is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with field service operations and property maintenance procedures.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) is a plus.
• Knowledge of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration), Ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
• Ability to work safely with refrigerants such as ammonia refrigeration systems and understand HVAC/R safety protocols.

Pay: $24.55 - $29.56 per hour
