HVAC Service Technician (Residential)

Mountain Heating & Cooling is a growing family owned small business and we are looking for an experienced HVAC Service Tech to join our team. The candidate we are looking for is an experienced Tech who wants to grow with our family owned HVAC company and who values excellent customer service.

Our Expectations

 Start everyday on time, ready to work.

 Arrive at homes looking professional, provide homeowner a great experience before, during and after the call

 Communicate via phone with office manager and customers on ETA’s, and other important information

 Maintain a well-organized van that is correctly stocked to serve customers

 Communicate value of preventive maintenance

 Our industry demand fluctuates with the seasons so you will be required to work some overtime

Minimum Skills

 Ability to Service/Repair residential HVAC Systems included Furnaces, AC/Heat Pumps,
Ductless.

 EPA universal refrigerant handling license

 Skilled in refrigerant service

 Ability to use power tools, hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently

 Clean driving record to drive company vehicle

 Excellent customer/team communication skills

 Intermediate computer, phone and paperwork skills

Advanced Skills and Certifications (Preferred)

 06A/B Certification

 Ability to diagnose and repair residential tankless water heaters, fireplaces and/or boilers, and oil furnaces

 NATE Core certification and specialty certifications

 Completion of HVAC specialty training program

Physical Requirements:

 Ability to lift 50 -100 or more pounds

 Proper PPE worn at all times (company provided)
