HVAC Service Technician – Residential & Light Commercial

B.K. Mechanical Services is looking for a skilled and reliable HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems for both residential and light commercial clients. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well with customers, and can confidently handle field service calls.

What You’ll Do

• Perform service, maintenance, and repairs on residential and light commercial HVAC systems
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues with accuracy
• Troubleshoot system failures and provide effective solutions
• Repair or replace components as needed (compressors, thermostats, etc.)
• Ensure all work meets safety standards and industry codes
• Communicate clearly with customers about findings and recommendations
• Complete service reports and documentation in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 5+ years of HVAC service experience (residential required)
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Solid understanding of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, and electrical components
• HVAC certification or apprenticeship completion (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to identify additional service opportunities when needed
• Must own standard HVAC tools (gauges, multimeter, leak detector, thermometer, etc.)
