HVAC Service Technician/Refrigeration Technician 3-5 years Experience

Holder's Air Conditioning & Heating is seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our dynamic team. As an HVAC Service Technician with a specialization in refrigeration, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for our valued customers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a dedication to providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems, including heating units, air conditioning units, and ventilation systems.

- Diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions and determine the appropriate course of action for repairs.

- Repair or replace defective components in HVAC systems, such as compressors, motors, thermostats, and fans.

- Install new heating, cooling, and ventilation systems following specifications and local codes.

- Perform system tests and ensure proper functioning of equipment after installation or repairs.

- Collaborate with customers to address their concerns, explain the required repairs, and provide cost estimates.

- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including all service and repair activities.

- Keep up-to-date with industry advancements, regulations, and best practices through continuous learning and professional development.

- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.

-·Refrigeration Skills (Walk ins, Ice Machines, Reach ins) not required but can be a PLUS+

*SERVICE TITIAN EXPERIENCE A PLUS+

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an HVAC vocational program or apprenticeship is mandatory.

- Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician, with a strong knowledge of HVAC systems and components.

- Valid HVAC technician license or certification (EPA Section 608 Certification).

- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems, including electrical and mechanical components.

- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations related to HVAC installation and repair.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to customers in a clear and concise manner.

-Service Sales Knowledge in order to sell upgrades & repairs to HVAC Customers.

- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.

- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
