Job Title: Commercial HVAC Sheet Metal Estimator

Triangle Sheetmetal is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Commercial HVAC Sheet Metal Estimator to join our team. If you have strong technical blueprints mastery, sharp analytical skills reading cut sheets, and a solid understanding of ductwork fabrication, we want you to manage our upcoming bidding.

Perform Takeoffs: Complete accurate material and equipment for rectangular, round/spiral, specialized commercial ductwork and customer sheet metal fabrication.

Analyze Documents: Review mechanical cut sheets, and project specifications to define the clear scope of work per SMACNA standards.

Manage Software Data: Utilize computer-based sheet metal data entry and draw program systems to generate comprehensive cost.

Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with customers and fabrication shop foremen to validate realistic production times.

What You Bring

• Trade Expertise: Minimum [3-5] years of estimating experience specifically focusing on commercial HVAC sheet metal projects.
• Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience using industry software like SHOP DATA (or similar software experience)
• Technical Reading: Advanced ability to read cut sheets.
• Industry Standards: Deep understanding of SMACNA standards and sheet metal fabrication procedures.
• Core Competencies: High mathematical aptitude, sharp attention to detail and tight deadline management.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
