HVAC Sheet Metal Journeyman

The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in commercial, and industrial settings. The journeyman installer should be knowledgeable in blueprint reading, system layout, ductwork installation using a small crew, and have a solid understanding of HVAC codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install HVAC and ventilation systems according to specifications and building codes.
• Manage small crews and ability to follow daily tasks
• Interpret blueprints and provide a small layout on the floors.
• Install refrigerant lines if need be and control wiring.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot installation issues and make necessary corrections.
• Communicate effectively with Foremans, project managers, and team members as well as GCs
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used, Let the Foreman know when material is getting low
• Train and oversee apprentices.
• Maintain company tools and equipment in good working order and organize job boxes, Keep track of maintenance on equipment
• Follow all company policies, procedures, as well as OSHA safety guidelines.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
