HVAC Site Manager

Job Overview

The HVAC Manager will lead HVAC project activities from initial site assessment through estimation, planning, execution, and final delivery. The role requires strong technical expertise, commercial awareness, and leadership to manage project teams, subcontractors, and client coordination while ensuring quality, safety, and budget compliance.

Our client is a well-established UAE-based industrial services organization providing specialized solutions to major energy and infrastructure sectors. The company supports large-scale operations across oil & gas, industrial maintenance, and engineering services, managing a diverse workforce across multiple operational sites. It is recognized for strong operational standards and long-term partnerships with leading regional energy operators and government entities on critical industrial projects across the UAE.

Key Responsibilities 1. Project Assessment & Estimation

• Conduct site visits to assess project scope and technical requirements.
• Prepare project cost estimations including materials, manpower, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Review drawings, specifications, and BOQs for accurate pricing and compliance.
• Identify project risks and provide mitigation strategies during the estimation stage.

2. Client Coordination

• Conduct meetings with clients to understand technical requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and recommend suitable HVAC solutions.
• Present estimation details and technical proposals when required.
• Maintain professional communication throughout the project lifecycle.

3. Subcontractor Management

• Identify and evaluate subcontractors for HVAC works.
• Conduct technical and commercial discussions with subcontractors.
• Review quotations and negotiate pricing.
• Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure quality, safety, and specification compliance.

4. Project Planning & Execution

• Develop project execution plans and allocate resources.
• Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and site teams.
• Monitor project progress against schedule and budget.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and contractual requirements.

5. Reporting & Documentation

• Submit progress reports to management.
• Maintain project documentation, approvals, and variation records.
• Support the commercial team in variation claims and cost control analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 8-12 years of HVAC project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • HVAC systems
  • Ducting systems
  • Chilled water systems
  • VRF systems
  • Ventilation systems
• Experience in estimation and cost control is essential.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
