Position Summary

E&E Capital Management, LLC is seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Specialist to support operations at a multifamily apartment community in Decatur, GA. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems while also assisting with general maintenance tasks across the property. The ideal candidate is hands-on, service-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment for residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency
• Respond to service requests related to HVAC issues in a timely and professional manner
• Assist with general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and carpentry
• Support unit turns by preparing apartments for new residents, including HVAC checks and repairs
• Conduct routine property inspections and report maintenance concerns
• Maintain accurate service records and complete work orders efficiently
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
• Coordinate with external vendors when necessary
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 3 years of HVAC experience, preferably in multifamily or residential settings
• EPA Certification required (Universal or Type II preferred)
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems, troubleshooting, and repairs

Willingness and ability to perform general maintenance tasks beyond HVAC

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair is highly preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and perform physical labor for extended periods
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
