We are currently seeking a knowledgeable HVAC/R Store Manager for our Port Huron store, which is a well-established successful branch location.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- 5 + years experience
- Be willing, able, and capable of performing all branch job functions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and use pallet jacks (or similar equipment) for heavier items
- Have strong product/industry knowledge
- Accept and follow all safety rules, policies and procedures
- Support company goals, missions, and vision
- Must be a highly motivated, dependable, self-starter with excellent skills in communication, organization, customer service, and problem solving who thrives in a fast-paced atmosphere
- Must have strong sales skills & sales experience with networking ability
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
- Have leadership skills and the ability to organize and schedule work assignments to staff personnel
- Manage any/all personnel, delivery personnel, warehousing, and inventory at that location
- Must agree to take a pre-employment physical & drug test
- Forklift experience is helpful, but not necessary, as successfully passing a training course will be required
- Must have a clean driving record with dependable transportation
JOB DUTIES & FUNCTIONS:
- All daily store operations
- Keep a clean, orderly, and professional building, warehouse, merchandising showroom, and grounds.
- Contact customers/contractors in pursuit of business
- Maintain contact and friendly relationships with customers and suppliers in an effort to maintain and build upon our favorable company image
- Must be able to provide efficient and courteous service for all customers which include walk-ins, phone calls, and e-mails
- Understand product applications to provide the best selection/solution for customer requirements to select, quote, and sell products.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues
- Promote the sales of replacement and aftermarket components to our customers
- Prepare quotes in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate and orderly records
- Stay up to date on continuously updating products
- Resolve any and all problems/complaints as they arise
- Enforce all safety rules and policies
- Ensure accurate inventory through proper store procedures and with weekly, monthly, and annual inventories
- Aid in properly maintaining all equipment/vehicles
- Attend any recommended trade meetings
