HVAC tech I (entry level)

Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as an HVAC Technician I (Entry Level), where you will gain hands-on experience in maintaining, repairing, and installing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. This entry-level role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while supporting property maintenance and ensuring optimal indoor climate conditions. You will work under the guidance of experienced technicians to learn industry best practices, troubleshoot equipment issues, and contribute to the overall comfort and safety of our clients’ facilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to support service tasks.
• Perform routine inspections of mechanical systems and property infrastructure to identify potential issues early.
• Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical components within HVAC/R systems.
• Support plumbing and appliance repair tasks related to HVAC equipment and property maintenance needs.
• Conduct field service activities including equipment repair, welding, and basic mechanical repairs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, repairs performed, and parts used for each job.

Experience
Prior HVAC field experience is preferred. All applicants must have completed an accredited HVAC training program and possess a valid EPA Certification.

Experience as a service technician in HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, or appliance repair is highly desirable. Knowledge of HVAC systems, schematics, mechanical troubleshooting, and HVAC design principles is strongly preferred. Experience with equipment repair, boiler operation, welding, or mechanical fabrication is considered a plus.

Applicants must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and be able to travel locally to job sites.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
