Position Description

The HVAC Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of various air quality systems in multiple locations including commercial & residential settings.

This position performs routine tasks that keep the production lines running and ensure that the equipment works properly and safely. They may also carry out more complex tasks if required. The HVAC Technician may also be requested to perform preventative maintenance on all production equipment.

Duties include:

• Performing routine maintenance on all production equipment.
• Performing preventative maintenance on all production equipment.
• Carrying out complex tasks if required.
• Keeping logs of usage time spent on maintaining production equipment.
• Keeping accurate records of repairs and minor repairs.
• Keeping accurate records of labour costs and other expenses.
• Maintaining clean and safe work areas.
• Cleaning up spillages from equipment.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

• Possess a logbook of maintenance hours and usage.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions properly and maintain professional behaviour towards supervisors, customers and other team members.
• Good communication skills (verbal & written) with the ability to problem solve.
• Good mechanical skills (e.g. troubleshooting, repairing, installing).
• Ability to follow production procedures and stay up-to-date with changes in safety regulations and quality standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $28.00 - $39.00 per hour
