Job Summary
JR's heating & Cooling presently has positions available for qualified HVAC technicians with sales experience to assist with our customers needs throughout the Finger Lakes region. If you are an experienced HVAC technician that holds the ability to educate and assess our customers needs to ensure their home is as comfortable as possible this is the position for you. As a technician with sales experience, the main responsibility is to properly diagnose, maintain, repair, install, and provide equipment replacement and suggest additional equipment as needed for the customer as well as following through with the estimate. The right person will be self-motivated, possess a strong problem-solving mindset, and a high level of professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Execute preventative maintenance and/or repairs on residential and light commercial HVAC systems and recommend replacement when necessary
• Prepare estimates in accordance to customer needs
• Maintain current knowledge of manufacture specifications for HVAC systems
• Complete accurate records of work performed
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment and company vehicle at all times in accordance with company standards
• Should own basic hand tools necessary for the job
• Assist and educate customers with which equipment would be appropriate for their individual needs and requirements

Experience

• Ability to navigate blue prints and schematics
• Strong ability to troubleshoot mechanical and technical issues
• Professional communications skills to interact with customers and fellow teammates
• Ability to handle a physical work load
• Must be a reliable, self-motivated team player with independence

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
