Green Cooling Solutions is seeking to expand our staff with a professional, experienced HVAC Technician / Installer to float between departments as needed.

As a company that has virtually zero staff turnover, these positions only become available as we expand and are highly sought after. We are only looking for A+ team players, with great attitudes and positive energy.

Position Description:

Under the supervision of our Operations Manager and following industry best practices, you will:

  • Perform residential and commercial service calls and preventative maintenance and/or Installations
  • Use our dispatching software (HCP) and follow invoice protocols.
  • Communicate issues and recommendations clearly to clients.
  • Carry out “on-call” duties as needed (currently once every 8 days, closing at 7 pm in the winter).

Beyond standard HVAC service, this is a fantastic opportunity to learn additional, non-traditional HVAC skills such as Aeroseal, duct leakage testing, blower door testing, and more.

Qualifications

  • Must live in Manatee County (south of the Skyway Bridge) or Sarasota County (north of Laurel Road).
  • 2+ years of HVAC experience required.
  • Possess basic hand tools (gauges, drills). A tool account is available for other required tools.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to use a tablet with our CRM system.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting safety rules, technical manuals, and maintenance instructions.
  • Capable of writing clear, routine digital invoices and correspondence.
  • Willingness to be part of our on-call rotation (Unless only on the installation Team)
