Duties & Responsibilities
Understand and adhere to all company safety procedures and participate in regular periodic Environmental, Health and Safety training.
Maintaining the company’s buildings, facilities, and equipment in an operating and functional condition.
Diagnoses, troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs heating and ventilation equipment, pumps, fans, compressors, and other mechanical equipment as necessary.
Utilizes strong mechanical and electrical skills to complete assignments.
Performs preventative maintenance on HVAC control and operating systems as scheduled in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Safely performs functions of the positions, including following proper safety guidelines such as job hazard analysis and lockout/ tag out procedures and wearing PPE as required.
Perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Valid Driver’s License.
Some Commercial HVAC Experience Preferred, But Not Required
Completion of an Accredited Apprenticeship program or acceptable equivalent training.
Possess a strong work ethic and can work independently and in a team environment.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
Able to work a flexible work schedule with varying days and hours, including call-ins
Able to work outdoors in all seasons and work at heights
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear, to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel; stand, walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; climb ladders; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to moderately loud
Specific vision abilities required by this job include correctable vision to complete work in a safe manner
Benefits & Compensation
The starting wage for this position is $28 – $45/hour, with potential adjustments based on skills, experience, and qualifications.
