Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- 2+ years commercial and/or residential HVAC experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- NATE certification is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
Position Summary:
As an HVAC Technician with Raymond Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning, you’ll earn $62K–$73K+ annually plus performance spiffs while delivering high-quality residential and light commercial service throughout Lorain County and surrounding communities. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems while representing a company that has proudly served Northeast Ohio since 1957.

Core Responsibilities:
- Service, diagnose, and repair heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems using gauges, multimeters, vacuum pumps, and other specialized tools.
- Replace or repair defective equipment, components, wiring, and systems to manufacturer and company specifications.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and accurately identify required repairs.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding system issues and recommended solutions.
- Install, connect, and adjust thermostats, humidistats, and timers.
- Test electrical circuits and components to ensure proper operation.
- Maintain accurate service records, work orders, invoicing, and billing within FieldEdge using company-provided devices.
- Follow all safety standards, company policies, and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Keep company vehicles clean, stocked, and inventory replenished weekly per the supply checklist.
- Maintain tools and trucks, reporting any maintenance needs to management.
- Operate lifts, tow motors, and other equipment as required.
- Order parts and supplies with appropriate approval and notify ownership of any job-site concerns.
- Complete all other duties as assigned.
