HVAC Technician

Job Title: HVAC Technician (EPA certification)

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in both residential and commercial settings.

Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems

- Diagnose and repair malfunctions in heating and cooling systems

- Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems

- Inspect current HVAC systems for effectiveness and safety

- Build and weld components as needed

- Read schematics to understand and troubleshoot HVAC systems

- Use ohmmeters to test electrical circuits

- Service ammonia refrigeration systems

- Utilize mechanical knowledge to solve problems

- Plumb refrigerant lines

Requirements:

- Must have experience with leading or running HVAC projects/jobs (residential or commercial) on your own; not just as an Assistant or Helper.

- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role, 3 Years minimum

- Familiarity with building codes and regulations

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

- Strong understanding of mechanical processes in HVAC systems

Skills:

The following skills are required or nice-to-have for this position:

- Maintain HVAC systems

- Service technician experience

- Welding capabilities

- Proficiency with ohmmeters

- Knowledge of air conditioning systems

- Ability to build components

- Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems

- Mechanical knowledge in HVAC technology

- Plumbing skills for refrigerant lines installation

Hourly Pay Rate: $25/hr. - $35/hr. (plus bonus opportunities)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
