HVAC Technician

Full-time HVAC Mechanic needed for a Government Contractor Company - Rosemark. Place of work is the Virginia Smith Federal Building located in North Platte, NE. Five days per week, Monday - Friday, 8 hrs. per day. $25.87 - $30.80 per hour. 11 paid Government holidays per year, Company paid health and welfare benefits available, two weeks vacation per year which increases after 5 years of employment, 7 days of sick time per year. Commercial building experience, HVAC education, EPA Certification, and basic computer skills are desired and preferred. Must pass US Government security clearance. For interview, call 510-846-0001. Duties include, but are not limited to, the preventive and corrective maintenance of building HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems equipment, subcontractor management and interface, and use of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage all work orders.

Reporting to the HVAC Supervisor, you will utilize your core skills in refrigeration and HVAC, along with premium skills in HVAC design and service technician experience, to address complex system issues. Your mechanical knowledge and field service expertise will enable you to troubleshoot effectively, while your relevant skills in appliance repair and property maintenance will enhance our service offerings. Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to refrigeration and air conditioning units.
• Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to execute HVAC design plans.
• Provide exceptional service to clients, addressing their HVAC needs and concerns.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks and repairs on HVAC equipment, including plumbing and mechanical components.
• Manage tools and equipment efficiently.
