HVAC Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled HVAC Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional service in maintaining, repairing, and installing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, troubleshoot complex equipment, and ensure optimal climate control for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, field service experience, and a passion for problem-solving to keep systems running smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration units, and ventilation equipment.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
• Conduct routine inspections of mechanical systems to identify potential problems before they escalate.
• Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to repair electrical components and mechanical parts.
• Troubleshoot plumbing issues related to HVAC systems and perform appliance repairs as needed.
• Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports of all work performed for compliance and future reference.
• Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC/R systems to ensure safety standards are met.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC or related mechanical fields with a solid understanding of HVAC/R systems.
• Construction background or experience working on large-scale building projects is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing, refrigeration, ammonia refrigeration systems, and boiler operations.
• Mechanical aptitude with proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; experience with equipment repair and welding is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating <PERSON> drivers preferred.
• Strong field service skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently on-site.
• Familiarity with property maintenance procedures and appliance repair techniques.
• Ability to interpret technical diagrams and schematics accurately; experience with HVAC/R systems is essential.
