Job Purpose

The HVAC Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance, energy efficiency, and occupant comfort. The role ensures compliance with safety standards and supports uninterrupted facility operations.

Key Responsibilities

· Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, split units, and ventilation systems.

· Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as per maintenance schedules.

· Diagnose faults and carry out troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical issues.

· Monitor system performance and recommend improvements for efficiency and reliability.

· Check refrigerant levels, pressures, temperatures, and airflow parameters.

· Ensure proper functioning of compressors, pumps, motors, valves, and control systems.

· Maintain logs, service reports, and maintenance records accurately.

· Respond to breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests promptly.

· Ensure compliance with safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) and PPE usage.

· Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other technicians for maintenance activities.

· Assist in installation and commissioning of new HVAC equipment.

Qualifications & Requirements

· ITI / Diploma in HVAC, Mechanical, or Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.

· 3–5 years of experience in HVAC maintenance (preferably in commercial buildings, plants, or district cooling).

· Knowledge of chillers (air-cooled/water-cooled), VRF systems, and basic electrical controls.

· Familiarity with HVAC drawings, schematics, and control systems.

· Certification in refrigerant handling is an advantage.

Pay: QAR1,500.00 - QAR3,000.00 per month
