HVAC Technician

The HVAC Technician will be responsible for the installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems. The ideal candidate should have excellent technical knowledge in HVAC systems, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and efficiently under minimal supervision.

The candidate must ensure all maintenance activities are carried out according to company standards, safety regulations, and operational requirements while maintaining high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC systems and equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in air-conditioning and ventilation systems.
• Repair and maintain split units, package units, FCU, AHU, VRF/VRV systems, and ventilation equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and performance checks of HVAC systems.
• Install, replace, and service HVAC components and related equipment.
• Monitor system performance and recommend repair or replacement when necessary.
• Respond immediately to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns.
• Ensure all maintenance works are completed safely, efficiently, and within the required timeframe.
• Maintain proper documentation and records of completed maintenance activities.
• Ensure proper usage and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and UAE regulations at all times.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other technicians to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in all working areas.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or Technical Certification in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, Air-Conditioning, or related technical field.
• Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in HVAC maintenance and facility management industry.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairs.
• Experience in handling AHU, FCU, split AC, package units, VRF/VRV systems, and ventilation systems.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems related to HVAC operations.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, manuals, and maintenance procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple maintenance tasks.
• Physically fit and capable of working in different site conditions.
• UAE/GCC experience is highly preferred.

Working Hours

• 10 working hours per day
• 1 hour break included
• Weekly off as per company policy
