Position Description


Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this leadership role oversees a dynamic portfolio of summer and after-school programs. The Director will design and manage offerings that align with the school’s educational mission and support the academic and recreational interests of our students and broader school community, while also developing innovative programming that attracts and engages external audiences. This position will balance strategic planning with daily operations of all auxiliary programming. This is a 12-month position, in-person role and will be part of the business office team.


Position Responsibilities

Program Strategy and Growth
Lead the vision, development, and expansion of auxiliary programming, including summer camp, after-school enrichment, music lessons, tutoring, and specialty programs such as The Dance Conservatory. Identify new opportunities that enhance student experiences, meet community demand, and drive non-tuition revenue. Build and implement a multi-year strategy for program growth, partnerships, and effective use of campus resources including a focus of balancing enrollment in specialty camps and our signature day camp, Gatorland.

Financial Oversight
In partnership with the Chief Financial Officer, establish pricing strategies, manage budgets, and monitor financial performance across all auxiliary programs. Track enrollment trends and ensure programs meet revenue and profitability goals.

Marketing and Enrollment Management
Collaborate with the communications team to develop and execute marketing strategies that promote auxiliary offerings and achieve enrollment targets. Oversee program visibility across digital platforms and manage communications with families to ensure strong engagement and retention. Use surveys and data to assess program effectiveness and inform improvements.

Operations and Administration
Oversee the day-to-day operations of all auxiliary programs, including registration systems, scheduling, facilities coordination, and vendor relationships. Partner with Executive Director of Human Resources on all auxiliary services staffing including camp programming. Ensure programs run efficiently and deliver a high-quality experience for participants and families.

Compliance and Risk Management
Ensure all programs meet applicable licensing, safety, and regulatory requirements, including state compliance for summer camp operations. Partner with internal teams to manage risk, health protocols, and staff onboarding in accordance with legal and institutional standards.

Staffing and Program Leadership
Recruit, hire, and supervise seasonal and part-time staff for auxiliary programs. Provide leadership and support to The Dance Conservatory Director, Assistant Auxiliary Programs Manager and all summer program coordinators and instructors to ensure consistent quality and alignment with program goals.


Required Education and Experience


  • Minimum three years’ experience working in and overseeing summer camp programming or something similar is required with school experience preferred.
  • Experience with CampBrain or similar system is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education required with preferred relevant experience
  • Detail-oriented with the capacity to effectively and efficiently manage numerous small and large tasks
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, and other related technology
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to exchange accurate information with a variety of constituencies (parents, students/campers, third party partners)

The St. Paul’s Schools has a compensation scale based on direct years of experience and degree held. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s years of experience, education and skills. For this opportunity, our salary range is $75,000 to $90,000 annually. Candidates with additional experience or qualifications may be offered a salary outside of the range shown.
