Service Engineer – HVAC

Location: Bangalore (Industrial & Commercial Sites / Factories)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Engineer to install, maintain, and troubleshoot HVAC systems across industrial and commercial sites. The candidate will ensure optimal performance, energy efficiency, and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including VRV, VRF, DX, Package AC, Cassette AC, Ductable AC, Split AC, CSU, FCU, AHU, etc.
• Perform preventive maintenance, cleaning, adjustments, and system optimization.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control system issues.
• Perform brazing, nitrogen testing, compressor and PCB replacements, and fault diagnostics.
• Handle refrigerants (R410A, R32, R134, R407) in compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Coordinate with technicians and contractors for installations and system upgrades.
• Maintain service records, maintenance logs, and compliance documentation.
• Stay updated with the latest HVAC technologies and safety regulations.

Candidate Requirements

• ITI / NCTVT / Diploma (HVAC certification or apprenticeship preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on HVAC installation, maintenance & troubleshooting experience
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical and refrigeration principles
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Physically fit to handle field work, ladders, and confined spaces
• Good communication and client-handling skills

Additional Mandatory Criteria

• Only service background candidates (Not from IFM / multi-service companies)
• Must have project field experience
• Ready for multiple site visits across Bangalore
• Comfortable with weekend working (Weekday off)

• On-site role across industrial and commercial locations
• Travel between sites required
• Strict adherence to safety and environmental standards
