HVAC Technician / Installer

We are a construction company specializing in single-family distressed property renovations. We are looking to hire an experienced HVAC technician/installer who can take ownership of HVAC work from evaluation through completion.

This role is best suited for someone who is comfortable working independently, troubleshooting existing systems, and installing both replacement units and complete HVAC systems. We are looking for someone who can confidently assess HVAC needs, make sound technical recommendations, and manage HVAC projects from diagnosis through installation with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing HVAC units, ductwork, and system conditions on renovation projects
• Diagnose issues with existing systems and determine whether repair or replacement is appropriate
• Repair and troubleshoot existing HVAC units and ductwork where practical
• Replace bad units and connect new equipment to existing duct systems
• Install complete HVAC systems, including ductwork and units, when needed
• Coordinate with the construction team to keep renovation projects moving
• Help identify material, equipment, and labor needs for HVAC scopes
• Maintain quality workmanship and code-compliant installations
• Assist with other construction tasks when HVAC work is slow or unavailable

Ideal Candidate

• Experienced HVAC technician and installer
• Able to work independently without much technical guidance
• Comfortable evaluating distressed or older residential properties
• Strong troubleshooting ability
• Capable of both service/repair work and full system installation
• Reliable, organized, and able to communicate clearly with the project team
• Willing to help with non-HVAC renovation work when needed

Preferred Skills

• Plumbing experience
• Electrical experience
• General construction or remodeling experience
• Willingness to learn additional construction trades
• Experience working on single-family residential renovation projects

Requirements

• Proven HVAC field experience
• Ability to diagnose, repair, replace, and install residential HVAC systems
• Ability to install and modify ductwork
• Own basic HVAC tools preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work on renovation job sites

About the Work

Our projects are primarily single-family distressed property renovations. HVAC needs vary by project. Some jobs may require troubleshooting and repair of an existing unit, while others may require replacingequipment or installing a full system including ductwork.

When HVAC work is not available, we value someone who is willing to help with other parts of the renovation process. Experience in plumbing, electrical, or general construction is a major plus, but a willingness to learn is also valuable.

We are looking for someone who can become our go-to HVAC person and help us build this part of our company.

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
