HVAC Technician / Installer (Full-Time) – Pittsburgh, PA

Job Summary

South Hills Electric, Heating & Cooling is hiring a full-time HVAC Service Technician / Installer to join our Heating and Air Conditioning team in the Pittsburgh area. We’re a small, tight-knit company focused on residential service—no corporate red tape, just solid work and a team that has your back.

What You Get:

• $24-$26/hour to start.
• 10% Commission: Earn 10% on every job over $3,000. HVAC installs, boiler replacements, etc. A $7,800 job = $780 in your pocket. A $16,800 full system = $1,680 cash.
• $50 SPIFF: Sell a maintenance agreement on any visit and collect $50 on top of your regular pay. Stacks with commission.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair residential HVAC systems
• Diagnose issues with furnaces, AC units, heat pumps, and boilers.
• Perform routine maintenance and system inspections.
• Communicate clearly with homeowners about service options.
• Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
• Keep your truck clean and your work cleaner.

Qualifications

• Ideally +4 years of experience in HVAC. Additional electrical experience a plus.
• Can work independently and handle service calls solo.
• EPA cert for HVAC is a plus.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• Located in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
