We are seeking a highly experienced, reputable HVAC Selling Technician with a minimum of 5+ years of proven residential HVAC experience. This position is designed for a seasoned professional who understands both technical service and system replacement sales.

This is not an entry-level role. We are only looking for technicians who have a strong track record in diagnostics, customer trust, and identifying legitimate system replacement opportunities. The ideal candidate is confident, professional, and known for providing honest recommendations while helping homeowners make informed decisions about their comfort systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform residential HVAC service calls, maintenance, and advanced diagnostics
• Accurately identify system failures, inefficiencies, and legitimate replacement opportunities
• Professionally present repair vs. replacement options to homeowners
• Build trust with customers and recommend solutions that improve comfort, efficiency, and reliability
• Turn over qualified replacement opportunities to comfort advisors or close sales when appropriate
• Educate homeowners on system performance, energy efficiency, and indoor air quality solutions
• Maintain detailed and accurate service documentation using field service software
• Represent the company with professionalism, integrity, and technical expertise on every call

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of verifiable residential HVAC field experience (required – no exceptions)
• Strong knowledge of residential HVAC diagnostics, repairs, and system replacements
• Proven ability to communicate clearly and build trust with homeowners
• Comfortable discussing repair vs. replacement options and system upgrades
• Professional appearance and strong reputation for quality work
• Self-motivated and able to manage service calls independently
• EPA certification required (NATE certification is a plus)
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background and drug screening
