HVAC Technician/Installer

Pilar Services, Inc. is a privately owned, family-oriented commercial A/C company and we are searching for that ideal candidate to join our team. We currently have several positions throughout South Florida from the West Coast to the East Coast.

Position Description:

Our Company is seeking an experienced and talented HVAC Technician to join our team. We are looking to hire experienced HVAC Technicians and Installers to join our team in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be familiar with standard HVAC installation procedures, troubleshooting, maintenance, and customer service. We are interested in hiring a hardworking individual who is capable of thinking on their feet and making decisions related to equipment failures or system malfunctions.

HVAC Technician Responsibilities

· Coordinates with assigned supervisor and other trades for the purpose of completing projects and work orders efficiently.

· Diagnoses causes of problems and/or failures in heating/air conditioning systems for the purpose of identifying equipment and/or systems repairs.

· Maintains vehicle, tools, and equipment for the purpose of ensuring availability in safe operating conditions.

· Monitor HVAC systems and their components for the purpose of evaluating condition, identifying necessary repairs, and recommending preventative maintenance.

· Performs maintenance on HVAC units for the purpose of ensuring the ongoing functioning of HVAC systems.

· Installs heating and air conditioning equipment and systems for the purpose of providing enhanced and/or upgraded capabilities.

· Responds to emergency situations during or after hours for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns.

· Requests equipment and

· Provide customers with good customer service and build a long-term relationship with our clients.

· Informs personnel regarding procedures and/or status of work orders for the purpose of providing information for making decisions, taking appropriate action, and/or complying with building and safety regulations.

· Know how to disassemble and reassemble HVAC Systems.

· Be aware of the local building codes and ordinances.

Minimum Qualifications

· Highschool diploma or GED

· 5+ years of experience in HVAC

· Strong communication skills

· Ability to climb and maneuver in tight spaces, ladders, and lift items up to 50 pounds.

· Bilingual- English and Spanish

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.54 - $35.00 per hour
