Description:
ECS is seeking an experienced and skilled HVAC Welder/Pipefitter Foreman to join our team. Who will lead the installation, welding, and maintenance of HVAC piping systems on commercial and industrial construction sites. This position involves supervising a team, ensuring quality control, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring all work adheres to safety standards and regulations. The Foreman is responsible for scheduling, coordinating work, resolving on-site issues, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. This is a Working Foreman position.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage a team in welding and installing HVAC piping systems.

Interpret blueprints and ensure accurate execution of plans.

Ensure all welding and pipefitting tasks meet safety and quality standards.

GMAW, GTAW, and SMAW.
-
Coordinate with other trades and resolve on-site issues.

Ensure proper welding and piping techniques are applied.

Collaborate with other trades for system installation and maintenance.

Monitor and enforce job site safety and adherence to building codes.

Track project progress and provide status updates to management.

Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, including welding diagrams and symbols as well as written and verbal instructions from engineering and management.

Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.

10+ years of experience in HVAC/mechanical systems on commercial and industrial sites.

Certification in welding (e.g., AWS Certification) is preferred.

5+ years of Experience with MIG, TIG, and Stick pipe welding methods.

Strong leadership and communication skills.
-
Ability to work overtime, weekends, and travel as needed.

OSHA 30 or the ability to obtain within 90 days.
