Overview
Join our growing team as an HVAC/Plumbing Dispatcher, where you will play a key role in keeping daily operations organized, efficient, and moving forward. This position is the connection point between our customers, technicians, CSRs, managers, parts department, permitting department, and service team.
As the dispatcher, you will help coordinate HVAC and plumbing service calls, manage technician schedules, communicate schedule changes, support the field team, and help make sure customers are kept informed throughout the process. Your ability to stay organized, communicate clearly, and make smart scheduling decisions will directly impact technician productivity, customer experience, and overall company success.

Responsibilities
- Schedule and dispatch HVAC and plumbing technicians based on skill level, location, urgency, and availability.
- Monitor the dispatch board throughout the day and make schedule adjustments as needed.
- Communicate with customers regarding appointment confirmations, delays, technician arrival times, and reschedules.
- Keep technicians updated with job details, customer notes, access issues, equipment information, and schedule changes.
- Prioritize emergency calls, no-cool/no-heat calls, plumbing issues, callbacks, maintenance visits, and revenue-producing opportunities.
- Reduce technician downtime, unnecessary drive time, missed calls, and scheduling gaps.
- Coordinate with CSRs, service managers, technicians, install teams, parts departments, and permitting department as needed.
- Coordinate with the permitting department to ensure all permits are inspected.
- Communicate schedule overloads, problem calls, customer concerns, or technician issues to direct report.
- Help protect the customer experience by keeping customers informed and avoiding unnecessary surprises.
Requirements
- Proven experience in dispatching within HVAC, plumbing, or related service industries is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of tService Titan a plus
- Exceptional communication skills with professional phone etiquette and the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
