HVAC/POOL HEATER TECHNICIAN

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled HVAC/Pool Heater Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional service in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and pool heating systems. Duties

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ammonia refrigeration systems using schematics and technical manuals.
• Install new HVAC units and pool heaters, ensuring compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R (refrigeration) systems to maximize efficiency and lifespan.
• Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems, including pipe fittings, drainage, and water supply connections for pool heaters.
• Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical components and ensure proper system operation.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to accurately execute installations or repairs.
• Perform welding or mechanical repairs as needed on various equipment components.
• Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports documenting all work performed for accountability and future reference.
• Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC or pool equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
• Operate a <PERSON> driver vehicle safely for transportation between job sites while adhering to all traffic laws.

Experience

• Proven experience as a service technician specializing in HVAC systems, refrigeration, or pool heater maintenance.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in construction or property maintenance environments.
• Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, HVAC design principles, and troubleshooting electrical circuits using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters.
• Experience working with ammonia refrigeration systems or HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) is highly desirable.
• Skilled in plumbing techniques related to water supply and drainage for pool heating systems.
• Ability to perform equipment repair tasks including welding, welding safety procedures, boiler servicing, and general mechanical repairs.
• Field service experience demonstrating the ability to diagnose issues efficiently on-site across residential or commercial properties.

Pay: $26.58 - $32.01 per hour
