HVAC/R Experienced Technician

All-Pro Air is seeking a self-driven, quick learning technician with experience in commercial refrigeration and HVAC service with a desire to partner with us to provide top-notch service to our clients. The best candidate for this position is energetic, trustworthy and can adapt to a myriad of service situations easily.

We service and install various types of commercial refrigeration systems including walk-ins, reach-ins, prep tables, ice machines, and commercial and some residential and commercial HVAC. We will provide a vehicle once the probationary period is completed and some specialty tools where necessary. Minimum 2 years commercial refrigeration experience required, more is preferred. Must be able to efficiently use technology to problem solve, enter visit reports, and communicate with team members.

Hourly rate offered would be determined by level of experience.

Summary

Under limited supervision, the Experienced Technician performs diagnostics, service, and repairs on a wide range of commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment across various customer sites. This role requires technical expertise, strong customer service, and consistent alignment with our company’s core values. The technician is expected to project a positive attitude, maintain a professional appearance, communicate clearly, and take initiative in resolving service issues while upholding safety and operational standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems with proficiency.
  • Install, maintain, and repair commercial refrigeration equipment such as walk-in coolers and freezers, ice machines, reach-in units, and refrigerated prep tables, etc.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration components using appropriate tools and instruments.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Communicate with dispatch and office staff to update job status, parts needed, and follow-up requirements.
  • Provide excellent customer service, explaining findings and recommended solutions clearly to customers or onsite personnel.
  • Accurately document service calls, parts used, and time spent on service software.
  • Comply with all company safety policies, procedures, and applicable codes and regulations.
  • Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory in clean and organized condition.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in HVAC and commercial refrigeration service.
  • EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification (Required).
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, control systems, and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and able to manage time efficiently.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Must be able to lift 50+ lbs., work in varying environmental conditions, and climb ladders.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $42.00 per hour
