Job Title: HVAC/R Production & Service Technician

Location: ICS Chillers – Milaca, MN Employment Type: Full-Time | Hourly $25–$35/hr

Established in 2005, we are continuing to grow and are seeking a talented HVAC/R Production & Service Technician to support both in‑house production and field service operations.

Position Summary:

The HVAC/R Production & Service Technician is a Mid/Senior position that plays a key role in both customer-facing service work and internal production. Approximately 80% of this role is in-house, supporting the assembly and testing of industrial chillers. The remaining 20% involves field service, where you will represent ICS Chillers on job sites and ensure equipment is installed, started up, and serviced to the highest standards.

This position requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, independent decision-making, and a commitment to excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Assist with assembly, wiring, and mechanical building of industrial chiller systems.

·        Perform in-house production testing to verify equipment performance and compliance with specifications.

·        Provide technical support via phone and remote communication.

·        Diagnose and repair equipment at customer sites.

·        Start up new industrial chillers and condensing units; 80% In-House/ 20% Service Travel

Required Qualifications:

·        5+ Years of HVAC/R Technician Work

·        Pride in workmanship and attention to detail

·        Strong time‑management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

·        Excellent communication skills.

·        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·        EPA Recovery certification

·        Valid Driver’s License & Passport: Travel-local, US & Canada

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

·        Work performed in shop environment and in the field

·        Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the production floor for extended periods.

·        Ability to lift up to 75 lbs

·        Standard Monday–Friday Day Shift; Overtime available & may be required based on workload.
