**Hybrid Dispatcher Job Description**

• Compensation: \$50,000 - \$70,000 annually DOE Job type:** Full-time,
  
  

year round

**Duties:**

• Schedule and dispatch drivers to appropriate routes based on
  
  

business needs, traffic patterns, and driver availability.

• Monitor driver locations and delivery progress using GPS and
  
  

dispatch software.

• Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams
  
  

to resolve issues and provide updates.

• Update sheets with accurate records of dispatch activities, delivery
  
  

times, and customer interactions.

• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and safety
  
  

standards.

• Respond to emergency calls and adjust schedules as needed to
  
  

accommodate delays or breakdowns.

• Drive assigned routes to deliver agricultural products when needed.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicle.
• Communicate with dispatchers to coordinate delivery of agricultural
  
  

products.

**Qualifications**

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or logistics
  
  

certification preferred.

• Proven experience as a dispatcher in the trucking or logistics
  
  

industry.

• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and geographic
  
  

routing.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced
  
  

environment.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  
  

**Skills**

• 2 years of experience as driver and/or dispatcher
• Effective communication and customer service skills
• Capable of working independently and following instructions
  
  

precisely.

• Capable of giving precise instructions and maintaining verbal and
  
  

written communications with drivers.

• Able to operate our ELD system (samsara)
