Hybrid Driver/Warehouse Associate

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and versatile Hybrid Driver/Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role combines professional driving responsibilities with warehouse operations, requiring a candidate who is skilled in commercial vehicle operation and warehouse logistics. The ideal candidate will have experience in various types of driving, including shuttle, delivery, and route driving, along with warehouse experience involving load and unload tasks. Responsibilities

• Safely operate a variety of commercial vehicles such as box trucks, flatbeds, dump trucks, tractor-trailers, and shuttle buses.
• Load and unload freight using equipment like pallet jacks, forklifts, and manual handling tools.
• Transport goods to designated locations efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
• Assist in warehouse duties including inventory management, organizing shipments, and maintaining cleanliness.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or warehouse needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to deliveries, vehicle logs, and inventory movements.
• Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts or yard jockeys as needed for material handling.
• Support other operational tasks such as moving heavy equipment or materials around the facility.

Experience

• Proven experience in commercial driving roles such as delivery driver, bus driver, shuttle driver, or route driver.
• Familiarity with operating various commercial vehicles including box trucks, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, tractor-trailers, or limousines.
• Warehouse experience involving load & unload activities using pallet jacks or forklifts.
• Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance or heavy equipment operation is preferred.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and ensuring safety compliance.
• Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type operated; commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred depending on role requirements.
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles and handle heavy haul or freight loads safely. This position is ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of managing both driving and warehouse responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
