A nonprofit healthcare center is seeking a Human Resources Recruiter / Generalist to join its Human Resources team in Westchester. This is a hybrid position.
This role will support recruitment and retention efforts with a primary focus on healthcare and patient services vacancies. The Human Resources Recruiter / Generalist will work closely with Talent Acquisition leadership and hiring managers to support full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, HRIS administration, payroll-related processes, and general HR department operations.
Responsibilities:

Support recruitment for healthcare, patient services, entry-level, technical, and professional roles

Maintain approved requisitions, vacancy logs, and job postings

Source candidates through job boards, community outreach, schools, recruitment apps, career fairs, and DEI-focused channels

Review resumes and conduct preliminary candidate interviews

Coordinate interviews with hiring managers

Process background checks in accordance with policy

Prepare salary-setting documentation, offers, and onboarding paperwork

Coordinate personnel files and new hire documentation

Support New Employee Training on a rotational schedule

Assist with internal recruitment, transfers, and workforce development efforts

Serve as an HRIS resource for ADP Workforce Now

Support employee lifecycle transactions, benefits enrollment, payroll authorizations, and HR data entry

Coordinate HR forms and files for payroll and finance processing

Provide general HR department support as needed
Qualifications:

Prior recruitment experience required; healthcare recruitment experience preferred

1–2 years of Human Resources Management, HR Generalist, or related HR experience

Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience with full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers, and onboarding

ADP Workforce Now experience preferred

Payroll, HRIS, benefits enrollment, or employee lifecycle transaction experience preferred

Compensation
: $65,000–$75,000 annually.
